| Details: | Northeast of Taiping and some 1036m above sea level is Bukit Larut (Maxwell Hill), the oldest hill station in Malaysia. This calming, fragrant place has none of the development of the Cameron Highlands, so its elegant bungalows and quiet lanes offer a more authentic glimpse of Perak's colonial past. Getting up to the hill station is half the fun, and once there, you ve got excellent opportunities for walks and fine views over Taiping far below. |
